Scott Alexander is releasing his homemade album entitled “Scott Alexander Makes 7 or 8 Dollars”. I’ll be performing with him during the release party. As usual, there should be free cookies at the show. Around March of 2010 Scott will be releasing “Scott Alexander Makes a Big Deal Out of It”, a studio album that I helped record and performed on.

There Is a Visitor is an art initiated project reflecting on possible new social structures and alternative ways of communicating. The project aims at various ways, in theory and in practice, to raise questions about the potentials of public spaces. There is a Visitor # 3 takes place during the opening days of the Venice Biennale and consists of a short series of seminars and meetings aiming to explore native geographies and perceptions of nature. We investigate how our viewpoints, our actions and interactions with the surrounding world are mediated through mental and physical tools, such as art, media, culture, memories, dreams and longing.

There Is A Visitor is organized by Raketa, a network of people running interdisciplinary, collaborative projects and experiments within art, design, architecture and digital media. LATCOL is the host for There Is A Visitor in Venice.
