7th to 14th - AM/PM Sax Quartet East Coast Tour, with Rhymes With Opera
AM/PM will be performing in collaboration with Rhymes With Opera, a new music theater collective dedicated to bringing new opera into unconventional spaces. The program will feature two new chamber operas for saxophone quartet and singers: Skeleton (tentative title) by Ruby Fulton and George Lam and Time is of the Essence (tentative title) by Thom Limbert, which will also include electronics. AM/PM will also premiere commissioned works for saxophone quartet by Ying-Chen Kao and Nick Anderson. Along with the AM/PM Saxophone Quartet, performers include Elisabeth Halliday (soprano), Bonnie Lander (soprano), and Robert Maril (baritone).
