AM/PM Quartet Members:

Jeremiah Baker (soprano saxophone) is the winner of the Sound of America Solo Competition (Orlando, Florida), the Young Soloist Competition (Shenandoah University), and a finalist in the 2008 Pro Musicis competition. He is active as a soloist along the East Coast, and is currently pursuing his Master's Degree at the Peabody Conservatory.

Zach Herchen (alto saxophone) is an avid supporter of new chamber music, having premiered 21 pieces. He performs a range of styles from classical to jazz to electronic improvisation to rock. Mr. Herchen was an active participant at New England Conservatory’s 2008 Summer Institute for Contemporary Performance Practice, the 4th International Master-Class for Classical Saxophone, and selected as a 2008 artist-in-residence at Wildacres (North Carolina). He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree at the Peabody Conservatory.

Miguel A. Bolivar (tenor saxophone) holds a Master’s degree in saxophone performance and composition from the Peabody Conservatory. He pulls from his Peruvian roots to create and perform music with his own style and interpretation. Mr. Bolivar has studied composition with Michael Hersch and is focused on creating solo and chamber works.

Cara Salveson (baritone saxophone) is committed to cultivating new music, as well as working as an educator to nurture the next generation of musicians. Ms. Salveson is active as a performer, in both chamber and solo settings, as well as being regularly involved in outreach projects. Combining a desire to perform as well as teach, Ms. Salveson received her music education training and saxophone degrees from The Peabody Conservatory.
